my mate for long long time

For those of you who don't know Sharron. This is she. We haven't changed as we tell each other every time we see each other. Well the photo tells another story because we have in fact been friends since we were 17.
Sharron and I met in Police headquarters nervous little mites we were. No we weren't about to be locked up but were going to join the force. Actually we both got accepted that day to join the force. Well we all know that silly (that's me) left a few years later and that's another story not meant to be blogged. But Sharron, well they have kept her locked up all this time and she's nearly as old as me so it's a really long time. I reckon she's going to be commissioner one day but she's says not. We will wait and see but I reckon I could be right as she is already a big wig will lots of stars and stripes.
Anyway we have lived in different lands through different marriages and survived with the help of some serious wining and dining along the way. We will always be friends like we were meant to be sisters it doesn't matter how long in between we just left off from our last chat.
Just getting soppy for a minute but I love my mate Sharron she is the best value a girl can have. I wish we could visit all the time but alas we can't so thanks for popping in for tea tonight and good luck with that new man. He sounds lovely. Can't wait to meet him one day soon.
