On the road

Martyn, John and Ken are well in to their trip now and have been staying with Ken's family in Melbourne for three nights. According to Martyn they are having a great time with lots of fun windy roads. No not wind-e it says why-n-dee.
Anyway they are fine. I am fine if you care. I have been working and organising my social life to include hair care, facials, bike riding (pedals) walking the dog Ahhh. It is all going well.
Except the usual happened which I expected the first week the car broke down, the pool went green and I went green then chucked. The car has a new battery thanks to the RACQ which I joined the week before. The pool sparkles again cos I can fix it and I am not green thanks to drugs and a few days in the cot.
So next week I am off to Carnarvon Gorge to girl it up for a week then back to clean up the mess I am sure Mark and Danni will leave. Oh come on they don't do clean you all know that.
Oh just one more thing. He wants me to do NZ with him next. Yup right!!!!!

Last night home

Tomorrow he goes away for a few months. I wish I could say I will be sad and sorrowfilled at his departure but I am not. No bad thoughts people. I really think that it will a trip of a lifetime one way or the other. I mean that it could be the best thing these blokes have ever done and well Martyn is no spring chicken which makes it all the more interesting. So I think that we will be all fine here. Yes I will miss him Ok I'm just not the soppy type alright. Anyway I can hire a handyman if I want another one
After all Mark is home to protect me.!!
The one who will miss him more than anyone is Alfie. I truly believe that the two of them will be a pair of love torn born to be together cot cases without each other.
Tomorrow I pray one thing that they will be safe and dry. They will enjoy each others company and they have great deodorant cos I don't think they will shower to much.
Bye boys and be safe all the way around Aus.

I bought William a bin for Pa's head

This is the bin while still quite innocent and possibly could still be used for rubbish
But not anymore William has another idea
Pa did'nt really fight off the attack though
In fact we thought it very funny until William also included some percussion on his head

Talk about ringing in the ears.

How many men ???

What you reckon! How many men does it take to clean one little innocent childs teeth.
Well it seems one to demonstrate the action and one to cheer them both on.
It seems whatever it takes William thought it was fun but he point blankly refused to floss

The Bike Ride

The bike packed and repacked and repacked.
Personally I believe there is way to much space for one bloke and about a cubic meter to little space for a chick

Very soon. Saturday to be exact Martyn and his companions leave to fullfil a dream of riding their bikes around Australia. It has been a long time in the planning with the occasional hiccups but the time draws close.

These days I find even I am getting excited about his adventure. Okay there is some selfish ideas going around in my mind such as chick flicks, a small holiday for girls only to Carnarvon and most importantly of all I can sleep anytime and eat rice bubbles for tea. Yep it is going to be just fine

More water

It is really great at this water park although I suspect that school holidays will be revolting. But we had a ball. There was three of us running around after one small child for a couple of hours

Water at it's best

Who said public transport isn't fun

On the day we went to southbank the train seemed like the best idea and quite obviously William thought it a hoot.

Grandy in the background looks a little less than impressed with the carrying on. But I think after nearly three months of William 100mph he is definately getting used to the pace
