Nothin much going this way 'cept the ducks.















This is the way we would sometime walk to the
shops and the bike track. Aint going to happen for sometimes I think.
There were even little waves on the edge of the water. It is bad and will get worse as the run off adds to the inland sea.

Okay we have a park at the end of our road and it has turned into a raging torrent in a couple of hours. Seems some people have decided to stop and chat about the weather. There were whole trees being swept along in the water. Very dangerous.

We went along our road to the video shop and came back to this. Needless to say we had to turn around and go via Royal Parade. Someones not going to be happy. So this is our road just past the roundabout going up toward Raymont Tce.

Happy Birthday Shelly

Shell has turned a corner into the best years of her life. So far life has been like the theme song from better homes "getting better all the time"
Well I mean to say she does have 3 georgours grandy kids and a wonderful family who love her dearly. I have no idea what they would do without her.
Anyway they put it all together last night for a fun filled few hours to share 50.



















Kate did what kate does and made a really funky cake. looked a real treat















The girls looked lovely and in their youth couldn't take a bad photo if they tried. I think they know they are truly lucky and super blessed to have their mum. Shell your a really wonderful person a great friend and an awesome mother. We who count ourselves as your friends are blessed and wish you 50 more years of greatest joy.

these are some of the shot's from the recent around the country bike ride. Some are very nice and I have tried to put in a couple of pretty ones along with the real deal of this is how we sleep rugged ones. He is bored already by the way and deep down I fear I am not enough and I might get home from work one day and find he has left with the red love of his life. Oh well I'll deal....

Pa' back

Pa tried to frighten the life out of Will and wonders why Nana is favourite. Well Dah!

Pa also came home and played WII
Well in fact in his defence I did suggest that he try it out since I thought it was fun. Anyway I like and don't win and he could take it or leave it and wins. Mind you just look at the body language and tell me who is and who is not the competetive one.
















So back to the story that he did arrive home as you can see. A whole 4 weeks early. I think that the two of them were over the 1/2 star camping and wishing for the 5 star homelife. Now I don't know about John but Martyn arrived home to an empty house and I haven't cooked for him since. Working Ok!
It has been a week and he has don't most of his jobs with the odd BIG ticket item waiting for his attention. But all in all he had a good time and so did I. Now it's back to the everyday which changes not.
