The inside toilet

As opposed to the outside where all good doggies should go. Today just before I went to work Martyn was making the bed and discovered the carpet was wet. I mean really wet. So wet in fact we were persuaded that the pool was leaking and the water was oozing up through the floor and seeping through the carpet. Just to ease our worries that about 20 thousand litres of water was flowing into our room we pulled up the carpet. No water leak Humm who was under the bed Last? Caught her in action. Well not quite she was getting the ball but missy has been reluctant to go outside all day while we did our gardening so guess where she went instead? Er yup your right. Naughty little blonde. They might have more fun but they are dumb>>>>>>sorry guys but she has a nappy on now....................Kiddin

Not really friends

They went on a BIG Boat and we got the blonde. Now poor Alfie has to fight for all his toys and he never wins. Cos he's a gentleman she get's the ball every time. Martyn and I have RSI from throwing the damn ball 50 million times the first day. I reckon Bonny requires a shrink myself as she has OCD.

The new deck

It is nearly finished just need to get the timber screen outside the bedroom window and some comfy lounge and we are good. Oh yeh there is also the drop down awnings and about $5000 then we're finished. Thanks Martyn another job well done.

Hide and Seek Sooty

Yep that's my curtains and that's sooty all wrapped up inside. Don't really know why but he decided when we brought him home today that it would be a grouse place to sit so he wrapped himself up and seemed very happy
Why is sooty here. Well it goes like this: last night I slept over at Kara's while Dan slept here so he could leave at break of dawn to do the bridge to Brisbane run. All was going spiffingly well till 3am when Kara came to wake me due to here concerns that Sooty was scratching himself into oblivion. Thank God I was actually wearing jammy's to bed. Anyway we had a little look and sure enough he had scratched his neck till it was bleeding. She was beyond tired so I took Sooty to bed with me and scratched him till he was snoring and then went back to sleep. He woke about three times each time I lay there scratching his back until he went back to sleep. This morning we had a look and decided that he had conjunctivitis and a sore neck so Sooty came home with us to go to the vet tomorrow and also so he doesn't keep his mummy awake one more night. Tonight he is wearing one of Williams socks on his foot to stop him from scratching is neck anymore. If he was a person I would have to say that his health insurance would refuse him any more cover he is just a worry. But we love him and so does Kara so that makes it very important that we make Sooty well.

Happy Fathers day

I know that all the kids would say that Martyn is the most useful Dad anyone could ask for. He manages to sort out all the problems that they can come up with and never leaves home without his tool kit and spade. Not a bad photo really it even looks like they like each other!!!!!!!!!

Mark where have you been

Mark and Dani came over to Kara and Dan's to share father's day with us. It only took three txt messages, facebook and a phone call to get an answer from him. Simple really "are you coming for lunch, yes/no" Takes a while Mark doesn't like to commit himself. But right on time (this time) he arrived with Dani and all was well for lunch. Although his meat sucked but thankfully we filled him up with cheesecake. Dani was a little the worse for wear getting home at 6am from a night at the clubs. William is still a little over awed by Mark, think it is the sheer volume with which Mark arrives. What with the car that sounds like a plane taxiing up the road or just mark and his LOUD voice. Still don't imagine he is going to get all quiet anytime soon. Thanks for coming Mark it was nice to see you.
