Centre of my world

Here is the bestest boy in the world. He is a source of great joy and much love for our family. He constantly surprises us with his love of people of life and beside that, if that wasn't enough he is so smart. We so much enjoyed this Christmas eve and morning with him. He beats all other activities hands down

There are two other men in my life the both of them equally besotted with each other and never far apart. So here they are in their usual position. Dog sitting on man

Time at the beach

Although it was warm there was quite a wind and the waves were a little to much. Not as nice as Tangalooma so I was told. Oh well next time.
But we managed to avoid most of the stingers except for one little bugger that got Wills on the foot and sent us to the lifegaurds for vinegar (they use alumiuim sulphate spray now) and then back to the unit for heat packs.
The majority of the time we swam safely in the pool till William did his usual indiscretion and was pulled out for a clean up. It's got to be something to do with that amount of water he swallows.
I loved it a full three days unadulterated adoration for and from my bestest little boy. I love you baby baby

Kara Had a Birthday

Our little trip was to celebrate Kara's 28th birthday as well as to have a couple of days break from work. I suppose that there has to be some good come from working shift work and this is the upside. Managing the roster to pile all the days together giving me 5 days at Coolangatta. It just made sense to make it a family get away. Anyway we did have fun although there was contant checking of the windows as we were on the 18th floor. Scary really with a 2 year old. I did ask for ocean views (tick) low level !!!. Still in spite of the windy condtions and the blue bottles which washed onto the sand we made it a fun time. Willilam did have some toys but he was very pleased I think to get home and into his toy room. Here is my pathetic cake which was baked at breakneck speed the morning of our departure and consequently was feral and ended up in the waste disposal. How can you compete with the Yatala pies we bought on the way. No contest

Driving lesson 101

At night the waterfront came alive with the tacky festive season funfair. There was however a great drawcard to entice us into the extreme expense of paying up for the fun rides. Well mainly Kara and Dan paid up for the rides I only had my on the one very high and very thrill ride which I did ride but for some reason there are no photo's.
Anyhow this is the William in his first driving lesson.

What do you think he took away from all this mayhem? You might well ask. Daddy is very careful to avoid all on coming, side approaching and rear bashing collisions while mummy and nana at the wheel reckon everyone is fair game. Get on the ride and pay the price. What a laugh

Nana went swimming

Well about time for another Blog. I was just waiting for the right subject to come along and low and behold here he is. It could only be the centre of my world that would get me into the pool right now. I like bathtub warm you see and today was warmISH. But we had a ball together while his mummy pretended to be a princess on the pool chair. I thought she wore waterproof mascara but today it seemed not!!
Anyway William is a great Sish (fish) and loves the water as most kids do. It's just that he's the best you see. So we are off to the beach for a couple of days with him and his princess, I mean mummy. Can't imagine how wrinkled I will be after a week in the pool. No feedback on the wrinkled bit OK.
