Fixed

Dell have done it . Came this arvo , replaced the complete motherboard, half a hour work.
Goes like a charm. Can't complain about the service . Very efficient. Just got to get a wireless router and can wander around the house wiv it.

OLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twuble, definately, is wife beating allowed ????
I might be "OLD" but I reckon I'm still young , fit , and healthy, and can still build a wall.
Might need some help to set the 3.0 m sheets in place though.
Going to look good when finished, will stop a lot of rain and wind.
Got to run some light and power cables (don't tell anybody that)
Has kept me occupied this week so not fretting too much about my new laptop. Worked for 4 days now wont boot. Dell have next day service which is good. Came yesterday and replaced one of the memory modules." No problems now" he said. Half an hour later it refused to boot again. Coming this afternoon so will see what happens. Hope this is the last time I see the Dell serviceman and that this does not become a long saga.

The RENO

No we are not crazy but I have to keep the MOTH (man of the house) outa trouble. So he's doing more reno's. It's good for him at his age to keep active. Gonna be in twuble now!!
We have been talking about the deck and how we hate looking at the brick wall next door so today we began removing the view of Glady's & Bruce's house. It gives them some privacy as well since we look directly down onto their deck. So unlike my friend Michelle who started her Reno blog and didn't have the fortitude to continue I will post the updates and show you the finished article to pass comment on. I think it will be lovely so long as Alfie doesn't throw himself off the edge before the walls go up.

Down the Slide

We had some fun in the park but he is still a little small. Didn't stop me from climbing all over the show and chasing Sooty who freed himself from the harness to find William. I reckon he would take on a big nasty tiger if it come near his best mate. Sooty loves him too

William wrecks

William wasn't being included in the conversation so he wrecked my kitchen in protest. This is the end result of him checking out the contents of all my drawers. Lucky I am now using Tri Nature cos he got out all the bottles of cleaning stuff to inspect as well. He is like a whirl wind that comes in to the house and nothing looks even remotely like it did before his arrival. Oh yes and prior to all this we had walked miles to the park, played on the slide and walked all the way back. We washed in the pool (just toes) and as if that wasn't enough we joined with his parents in the lets try and change William game. So in my wisdom I thought I would leave the nappy off for a few minutes while I regained my patience. So it only seemed fair to William that in that few minutes he should empty his bladder on my kitchen floor. Well I suppose if Sooty can do that most times he comes why shouldn't William join in the fun. Hummm!!

I think this is a Kate shot

Rather proud of my artistic photo shot timing in this one. I even cropped it and I want to put it on a one of those cute kid cards.

Red Head

While we were out saying goodbye to Pa I couldn't help but be amazed by the golden hair. Who wouldn't love hair this colour. No doubt it may change over the coming years but for now this child has a colour they never could bottle. He also discovered his shadow and by banging on the garage door he could alert every neighbour in the street of his presence. He laughed his little self silly at his noise. Must be a lad!! Girls don't do that do they?

Thursday is Willday

Now I am full time I have a weekend day and Thursday off to look after my boy. I love Thursday cos we can play and go for a walk and take lots of photo's. This week I slept over to spend more time with Kara she thinks I work to hard and we don't get time to hang. So Fri we hung a little. Anyway Thursday was a lovely day and I had to get the boy out into the yard to play. Sootie as always follows right behind and even through the tunnel. Pa fixed the broken TeePee and yeh we had an adventure playground.

Because your worth it

This is my thank you for what I love to do. My lovely William sent me flowers (helped by his mum) in the card it was a thank you for looking after him. Well it is a pleasure and if things were a little different ie if we had sold the house, I would look after him everyday. He is positively exhausting and is still eating my shoulder but I loves him. Kara you are a joy and I loves you too.

NO CHANGE THE WIND AINT BLOWIN

Had anyone really thought that they could predict the housing market? No, well we can. Anytime you want to buy cheap then let us know. We can accomodate by putting our house on the market thereby giving you an absolute guarantee that the market will fall not only a little bit to get you a bargain but all the way to the earth's core. I would love to say that we got our little bit of dirt in Northlakes but we didn't. We're still here and now I have a lovely pantry which I fixed up this week with all nice things from Ikea.
So if you wanted to sell I am sorry but if your a buyer I hope you got a bargain.
NO NO I am not bitter. This will make me strong!!!

Nite-itis

This is what happens when nights kick in at the same time as sub zero temps. I was doing well on the 4th of my 5 nights but then disaster hit. Let me explain that I was managing my nights very well telling all who would listen that I attract excellent evening conditions for sleeping leaving the day for other activities not including sleep. Until the horror night number 4 when it started to get shaky and we actually had to work. Very wrong!! Darn it I had to sleep all day but that was fine since I had one more night and would have the pleasure of spending Thursday with William and Kara. I was planning on a sleepover too as we had our car booked in for a serious matter of shock absorbers. Like who cares. But the plague hit and I sneezed, more than once and a little less than a 100 times. By morning I was cactus (but I did only work for 45mins thereby maintaining my position as slackest night shift tech in the Mater) So we met at Toyota Martyn on his bike me in the car with helmet and jacket feeling like sh..t at 7am sub zero wind chill -26. I had to sit on the back of the red devil all the way home. Sad. There must be some symbol for a sad face but can't find it. Anyway I missed my boy because Kara said I can't have him infectious and I can't see him till my infectious is gone. Like I might have to find one of those de-contamination chambers. My mum sent me a text to say she wanted to make me a cuppa but where the hell is she I ask. Not here Oh no!!!! Fine thanks Mum:) (smiley face thingy) Good news our car was cheaper than he told me. He being Alfie's best friend. And Alfie came to wash my face every few minutes Eeew!. Not really just posing for the photo's he did.
So I am glad we didn't book to go camping or else we would have to do a Kate and abandon tent. I am glad we didn't off load the dog and go stay somewhere posh for a pash what a waste of dosh. On which note I shall retire for the evening. Going to attempt breakfast at Southbank tomorrow.
