He's comin home

They are getting sore bums and I think they need a little female company. Mind you I hear the boys are getting on like a house on fire so they may miss each other when they get back.
But with only a few days to go I am busy cleaning the house and pool just to make sure he knows I don't really need him and everything is under control. Can't understand why the rubbish bin smells so bad I mean we have put it out once since he left. Oh well!!!
Oh yeh I washed the cars again and the wheels are shinning. He will be pleased.

Scenes from the biker

Don't know where 3 are but the other one, well I think we all know that one.
Oh you do take a nice photo Martyn

Pantry, kitchen &dining room

I never want to hear anymore complaining from the lady with no walk in pantry cos honey you ain't got no problems.
Without mentioning she who will remain annonymous I think we might all agree that this is no way to store your weekly groceries. However the up side is that nobody gives a hoot if you leave the dining table dirty.
Rough!!!

Leaving Perth

The boys are off again travelling to the top end. Not sure about the whole "is my belly bigger than yours thing" but I presume they are inclined to think they have either lost weight or are still full from the night before party food.
Anyway it was nice of you to have them Mum and Dad and do all their washing. I am sure John will be trying to get Linda over to Perth sooner rather than later after all he has seen the place at it's best with no rain. Unlike here I might add.
Ride safe boys and don't forget to enjoy the sights on the way don't ride past at 120km's the whole time.

Martyn had a party

These are some of the photo's from Martyn's party at Sharrons house. She did a great job in my absence. Even had a cake. Some of the lovely people are my parents and Sharrons super pretty girl Brooke and her mum. Now if you your mum looks as georgous as Sharrons mum then it's all good for gene's play a huge role in our growing old gracefuly proccess. Beryl and Mum you both look younger than your age. Well done ladies

Happy Birthday

How's that for a shocker
of a hair do

This is Martyn's 50th. A far cry from the tame affair which is to be his 70th.
50 is a reasonable age I think when your 50 it seems that 70 is way way over the hill. Martyn has other ideas and although he may not be the young spunk he used to be... I was about to say he is the most adventurous retiree I know. Yes he don't look to bad either unless of course my mum did give him a number one crew cut like she said she did. In which case I am not interested in seeing the photo evidence.

Back to 50, he got the works including a cake which had the cake maker frowning but in the end turned out to be a great resemblance to the plane I asked for. It was a small but happy party we had at a time when we had nothing to worry about except having fun. Shortly things changed but on that day I am glad we didn't anticipate the 89 worries.
So happy birthday spent in Perth with others including best friends and family. I am sure Sharron will do a wonderful thingy for you to celebrate your special day. She is a real softy and will step in where I have failed.
So have a lovely day and be safe on the rest of the trip you are missed and we will be thinking about you and looking forward to seeing all the photo's and hearing all the stories of your 70th year adventure.

Getting Dirty

Kara and I took William and two dogs for a walk this morning. Well it was really quite funny since Kara you are quite funny with the clean thing. Anyway William was getting a little mucky since it had rained and was about to rain again. Then I recalled this particular incident in my childrens past. A very very dirty time in their past and despite monumental amounts of dirt they survived. It was par for the course with my two they did have a acre to play on along with dirt there was the cubby house and the go cart.
So along the way William walked with his lawnmower mowing wet grass and pavement. His shoes were wet and he was a little tired by the end but we had a laugh and yes it did rain.

In Perth

The boys are in Perth and it seems are into a bit of sight seeing around the Posh parts. Mum and Dad are here with them in one of the favourite and famous spots in Fremantle. Cicerello's. Look at John's beard. That wasn't there before.
The sunset photo's I think were taken by the river maybe of overlooking Fremantle beach. They didn't tell me.
They are visiting my friend Sharon and her new man on Monday night for tea then leaving on Tuesday for the north. I do believe Martyn is getting a little homesick and misses me. So for those of you who might think that I am not into that lovey dovey stuff (barf barf)I can't be all that much of an ice queen if wants to come home. Or maybe it's not me and I am delusional maybe, just maybe it's Alfie. Yeh that would be about right.
I might be a little bit missing him as well. But only a little bit mind.

Martyn's First 70th present

On April 13th Martyn is 70. He don't really look it and he don't really behave like it. Then it does take men an awful long time to grow up don't it!
This is a shirt he got from Ken his part time travelling partner. More than he got from me although I wrote some nice stuff in his card, if that counts.

The boys on their travels

Now they are in Esperance in Perth and all is well.
